Paul Stack serves as a Wealth Advisor at Steward Partners, where he works closely with clients to understand their financial goals, develop tailored financial plans and manage portfolios designed to support their long-term needs. He joined the team in 2026 and brings a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to his work, helping clients navigate important financial decisions with clarity, confidence, and a strong sense of partnership.
In his role, Paul collaborates with his clients by discerning their goals, recommending financial products and creating strategies aligned with their objectives. He is committed to providing peace of mind, ensuring each client has an advisor in their corner who is actively seeking their best interests. Paul’s empathetic nature and patient approach are among the qualities clients value most, as they allow him to listen carefully, understand each client’s perspective, and take the time necessary to develop a comprehensive view of their financial life.
Paul was drawn to the financial services profession because of the opportunity to help people achieve their goals while explaining complex concepts in relatable terms. That ability to educate and guide others has been a defining thread throughout his career. Before entering the financial services industry with Ameriprise Financial, Paul spent more than 30 years in education, serving as a teacher with East Irondequoit Central Schools in Irondequoit, New York, where he taught social studies for grades 9–12 and served as curriculum leader for the social studies department. His background as an educator continues to shape the way he serves clients today, bringing clarity, perspective, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds the APMA designation, which is designed for financial professionals to master portfolio creation, management, and client assessment. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he has remained actively engaged in his community through a number of civic and leadership roles, including service on an advisory group for the Town of Irondequoit. He has also served as board member for the Irondequoit Library Foundation, an elder board member at Browncroft Community Church, and as president of the East Irondequoit Teachers Association.
A lifelong resident of Irondequoit, New York, Paul continues to call the community home with his wife, Joan. Together, they have seven children: Julia, Paul III, Claire, David, Jason, Nathan and Abigail. Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active through golf, basketball, tennis and pickleball, and he is also an avid sailor.
